The Power of Women Conference

Pink Water Productions will be hosting the 2nd annual Power of Women Conference, A Journey Through The Ages. The event will feature 5 powerful speakers and take women on a journey of the struggles women have had to face to attain the current level of equality as well empowering women to create balance in their lives and achieve the level of success that they aspire to. I Hate Hamlet - Durham Shoestring Performers

COMING SOON!! Young TV actor terrified of playing Hamlet + the ghost of the greatest Hamlet ever + manipulative LA and New York agents + a stage-struck girlfriend = unlimited hilarity. A young and successful television actor relocates to New York, where he rents a marvelous, gothic apartment. With his television career in limbo, the actor is offered the opportunity to play Hamlet on stage, but there's one problem; He hates Hamlet. His dilemma deepens with the entrance of John Barrymore's ghost, who arrives intoxicated and in full costume to the apartment that once was his. The contrast between the two actors, the towering, dissipated Barrymore whose Hamlet was the greatest of his time, and Andrew Rally, hot young television star, leads to a wildly funny duel over women, art, success, duty, television, and yes, the apartment. 	Environment Month
	Every weekend from April 2nd to May 1st, the Ontario Science Centre will host environment-themed activities, workshops and events. The highlight of the month will be ticketed evening presentations April 26 and 27 from Canadian wilderness photographer Mike Beedell with musical accompaniment from Ian Tamblyn entitled "Dreams and Journeys: An Environmental Odyssey." During the month, the Science Centre will also conduct an Earth Day challenge (April 22), host camping workshops from the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and celebrate National Wildlife Week.
