Thursday, May 09, 6:30pm to 10pm, 665 King Street North Waterloo. Join us for our 1st Annual KW Celebrity Men’s Fashion Event on Thursday, May 9th at 6:30pm at St. George Banquet Hall in Waterloo! Don’t miss your chance to be a part of a night of fun, fashion, and over-the-top entertainment! Each of the celebrity models have been hand chosen from our enthusiastic volunteer committee. Our celebrity models include big names such as Mayor Carl Zehr, Middleweight Boxing Champion, Fitzroy Vanderpool, 91.5 Beat Breakfast Host Carlos Benevides along with many other models yet to be announced, but sure not to disappoint as they strut their stuff down the runway. Each of the models will be fashioned in an outfit from Channer’s and Meltdown! Preceding the fashion show there will be a silent and live auction with some truly spectacular items which will leave many wishing to be the highest bidder! With items donated from several great organizations The Kidney Foundation of Canada’s Celebrity Men in a Fashion Event is sure to be another great night for all who attend, and a great way to raise funds and awareness of kidney health and organ donation. ‘‘For The Love of Lobster’‘ A Classic Maritime Supper!

May 9, 6pm to 10pm, St. Felix Centre - Parish Hall of St. Patrick’s Church, 141 McCaul Street. A classic Maritime supper - for a great cause! This is the main fundraising event of the year for St. Felix. The centre works on a shoestring budget dependent on donations as it does not receive government support. The St. Felix Centre was established over 75 years ago by the Felician Sisters. Today we provide care and support to 1,600 homeless, low income and needy children, youth and adults every year.
