US Hot Rod Monster Jam

The world's largest, most spectacular monster truck tour, Monster Jam, returns to The John Labatt Centre, on April 2nd and 3rd, for the 2005 Canadian Monster Jam. 2005 promises to be one of the most mind-blowing, thrilling years ever seen as new trucks, attractions, and elements are being added to each show. What began over 20 years ago as an exhibition event at county fairs has emerged as the hottest and most colorful competitive racing sport in the country. Each season 300 live stadium and arena events attract over 4 million fans to sold-out performances across the U.S. & Canada. Monster Jam brings together the biggest, baddest monster trucks ever built for heart-pounding, seat-of-your-pants competitions before over 40,000 stadium fans per stadium event.

Midnight Sun - London Community Players

COMING SOON!! Midnight Sun is set in 1942, in Strandvik, a small fictional community in the north of Iceland, which the American forces have occupied, and is seen as a strategic location for defense. These are the days leading up to Midsummer Eve, the time when the sun does not set. There are clashes of cultures between the U.S. military and the small village. The characters have to deal with major changes in their lives and needs of each other. This is a wonderful multi-layered story with fascinating personalities utilizing elements of myth, folklore, original and familiar big band music, and romance, all of which is fresh, dynamic and relevant. 	Environment Month
	Every weekend from April 2nd to May 1st, the Ontario Science Centre will host environment-themed activities, workshops and events. The highlight of the month will be ticketed evening presentations April 26 and 27 from Canadian wilderness photographer Mike Beedell with musical accompaniment from Ian Tamblyn entitled "Dreams and Journeys: An Environmental Odyssey." During the month, the Science Centre will also conduct an Earth Day challenge (April 22), host camping workshops from the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and celebrate National Wildlife Week.
