For over 90 years Goldstone & Alma congregations have been hosting this annual summer event. This year they are serving old fashioned ham, potato salad, jellied salads, coleslaw and deviled eggs and of course for desert farm fresh strawberries a, home made tarts and cakes. Adults are $10, children 6-12 $4, and preschool are free. Supper is served from 5 to 8pm.. For info call Sharon Grose 846-9788 .

KW Amateur Radio Club Field Day

When the Schneiders arrived in the Waterloo area in 1807 they were the first to settle the land and they lived a difficult pioneer life. This week, the Schneiders will be planking fish, making bread over an open fire, and making ropes and nets. To kick off summer, the Schneider Haus is pleased to announce a special "anniversary offer" on July 1 to celebrate Waterloo County/Region's 150th anniversary. Canada Day will feature FREE admission, a special anniversary cake, and horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Roger Cober (50 cents). Call (519) 742-7752 for more details.
